The youngest member of the band and originally from Birmingham. Leads the vocal line and plays second guitar.

With a penchant for making his own guitars, our very own Welsh Wizard has vast experience and is renowned among our regulars as a truly great

fret-master.

One half of the rhythm section of Vinyl Daze. You only have to look at his towering Hartke stack to know he means business and that business is bass; by the shovel load.

So What Have You Got?We are experienced musicians playing to a very high standard to deliver great entertainment. We have 2 voices, 2 guitars, bass and drums and a great range of sound equipment and lighting. We can fit into almost any size and type of venue and adapt our repertoire to play Pubs, Clubs, Festivals and Events. Check out the video.Noisy Then?We can be as loud or as quiet as you want us to be, accepting we are a four piece rock band. Our equipment can sometimes look a bit daunting but size doesn't necessarily mean excess volume it allows us to play at lower levels with HiFi like quality. We even have a state-of-the-art Roland electronic kit to allow total volume control where necessary. Any information relating to your venue which you can provide is important, is there a curfew time on live music, does the venue have a noise regulator - we will use this information to adjust our set, volumes, equipment and timings accordingly.And Why That Name?Vinyl Daze was formed, as the name might suggest, to play Classic Rock covers from the 60s & 70s however our repertoire has developed to include the 80s to current day. Expect everything from Kinks to The Killers, Zeppelin to The Zutons. With a bit of notice we can even add select songs at your request. If we weren't called Vinyl Daze we'd be called Badger, by the way.

FAQ How long do you play for?Generally if it's a pub gig, landlords like us to start at around 9pm, with a 15 minute break after an hour and then another set of at least an hour, but usually one and a half hours. However, we are happy to play for as long as you want us to as long as our voices/instruments hold up. Speak to Tom for prices.How much space do you need?We are pretty adaptable. There are five of us with equipment so ideally a space about 5 metres wide by at least 2.5 metres deep with power available to the area. If it's winter, we don't want to be near an open fire and you'll need to think about access and fire escape routes.How much do you charge?This varies depending on travel, the length of time we play for and the size of the event. Contact Tom directly to discuss your requirements so we can give you a realistic price. What about your set list?We perform a large array of different styles from early rock, blues to modern pop. If it's a pub gig we'll bring our own set list - if it's a private party and you have an idea of what you'd like we can provide you with a set list choice. We will consider requests with enough notice (there is a £20 fee for cost of purchasing sheet music)Can you play outdoors?We love playing outdoors! If you're planning an external event, you'll need to make sure you can supply power to the event area, and secure and safe cover for the band due to the large amount of expensive electrical equipment we travel with. It's also helpful if you can give us an indication of the distance between the parking area and the peformance area.Where are you and will you travel?We're based in Oxford and the North Cotswolds as are most of our regular gigs, but we're happy to travel anywhere as long as it makes financial sense and we've got the availability. Can you supply PA and lighting?In short, yes. We have a PA system which will fill most small and medium venues and does a pretty good job at small festivals. We've indoor lighting and smoke machine too. If your event is a larger scale we will need to make a charge for PA hire but will discuss this with you on request of booking.Anything else?Check whether the venue has a sound limiter. Often these don't take into account the dynamic range of the band and will cut in even during quieter parts of the set. That, and they can potentially damage our equipment too.If you require further entertainment prior to or after the gig, we can arrange for disco or karaoke and have other music contacts able to provide either background music, or simply another performance set.OK, how do I book you?Get in touch with our vocalist, Tom to make arrangements and we'll take it from there.
